Basecamp Hotel is situated in the heart of South Lake Tahoe at the California-Nevada stateline border. This hotel offers a rad, modern, hipster vibe and is a great choice for families (with pets!) who don't want the chaos of a casino.
The original Basecamp hotel is built for exploring the incredible lakes, trails, and mountains in the Lake Tahoe Basin. Basecamp is a short 5 minute walk to the lake and an even shorter 4 minute walk to the Heavenly Gondola. The 73 stylish rooms are designed for adventure and relaxation seekers alike, with the amenities and style of a modern resort, but at more affordable motel (or inn-like) prices. Basecamp also has a beer garden that is the perfect spot to relax with family and friends, enjoy great house made food, craft beer, and live music.

If you like to find quirky, fun, little spots that are more off the grid or out of the busyness that South Lake Tahoe has... Michelle and Kevin often book through AirBnB.
When booking through AirBnB, please double check the details and rules of the listing. Also, location is key for this trip! Make sure your AirBnB is no more than 10 miles away from the venue as SLT can be very busy in the summer months.
Popular neighborhoods to stay at are: Fallen Leaf Lake, Meyers, Tahoe Keys, and stateline. Anything north of Camp Richardson or the venue may be too long and windy of a drive.
